Selection Process Brand of the Year Awards
At Brands Award, we believe in recognizing excellence through a transparent and structured evaluation process. Whether you’re a company nominating your brand or an individual recommending a worthy contender, our streamlined process ensures fair representation, quality assessment, and credible recognition.
Each step is designed to engage you meaningfully—from registration to final recognition—making your journey with Brands Award both prestigious and impactful.
STEP-1
Nominations by Award Council
The Award Council nominates brands throughout the year based on their outstanding brand management strategies and innovative marketing campaigns.
STEP-2
Written Intimation
Shortlisted brands receive an official nomination letter from the Brands Foundation, requesting their consent to proceed.
STEP-3
Submission of Pre-Nomination
Upon consent, nominees are required to submit a Pre-Nomination Form along with their brand’s profile and Relevant supporting documentation
STEP-4
Initial Council Review
Submitted documents are reviewed by the Award Council; qualifying brands proceed to the next evaluation phase.
STEP-5
Dual Evaluation Process
Qualified brands undergo a comprehensive evaluation that includes: - Quantitative Study: A nationwide consumer survey - Qualitative Research: Expert analysis of brand attributes
STEP-6
Winning Confirmation
Successful brands receive a provisional confirmation of their award status from the Brands Foundation.
STEP-8
Final Notification
After expert scrutiny, brands are officially informed in writing whether their nomination has been approved or not.
STEP-7
Voluntary Registration Option
Companies may also voluntarily register for consideration by submitting a Pre-Nomination Form independently.

The Selection Methodology
The Brands Foundation takes a holistic approach to identify the finalists of Brands of the Year Award. The competition's criteria and categories cover the wide-ranging aspects of professional brand management, consumer preference with a decisive majority, innovative brands strategy, consistent brand IPR protection and sustainable brand trustworthiness.
Our evaluation process is comprised on a nationwide qualified consumer survey (quantitative study), expert analysis and attributes based qualitative brand research.
The award council (jury) is fully authorized to examine each individual criterion as it would like in the evaluation. The order does not represent any order of criteria or evaluation. Only the successful contestants will receive the official written winning confirmation of the jury's results; legal recourse is excluded.
